About PosterChild

PosterChild is an AI-powered platform helping nonprofits amplify their stories and fundraise more effectively. By automating marketing and storytelling workflows, we enable organizations to reach wider audiences and secure the funding they need to thrive.

We're backed by Collab Capital, Zelda Ventures, and The House Fund, with $3M in seed funding. We serve 38+ nonprofit customers including the NBA Foundation, UC Berkeley, and American Express, and add new organizations every month.

The Opportunity

We're building the operating system for nonprofit storytelling and funding. We're a small, high-conviction team shipping product that nonprofits love — and we're looking for an engineering leader who can help us invent what comes next.

This isn't a "manage the backlog" role. You'll own multiple product lanes simultaneously, move between strategy and execution fluidly, and ship at a pace that punches far above our team size.

Who We Build For

Our users are executive directors, development officers, and program leads — people who don't have time to learn complex software. Everything we ship has to be immediately understandable. Simple, fast, and outcome-driven wins.

What This Role Looks Like

Operate with high autonomy

You don't work linearly — you orchestrate. You run multiple parallel workstreams: planning one feature while another is in review, prototyping while tests run, and unblocking decisions while shipping improvements.

You treat AI as leverage — not as an occasional helper — and you know how to verify AI-accelerated work so speed doesn't turn into chaos.

Own lanes, not tickets

You hold the full arc of a product surface: user insight → solution design → architecture → shipped feature → iteration. You can context-switch at the strategic level and keep 3–5 workstreams moving without losing quality.

Example lanes include:
